In 2018, the general harvest of grains and pulses in Ukraine will reach 61.7 mln tonnes, a decrease of 0.8% compared with last year volumes (62.2 mln tonnes), declared the Director of the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics”, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS), Yuri Lupenko on February 19.

According to APK-Inform estimations, in October-December period of the current MY Ukraine exported more than 725 thsd tonnes of corn to China, an increase of 3.6 times compared with the same period of 2016/17 MY (201 thsd tonnes).
