Maersk Line modified its ME3 service

Maersk Line, sponsor of Grain & Maritime days in Odessa 2018, modified its ME3 service. M/v “Maersk Klaipeda”, first vessel of the modified ME3 service, berthed at TIS Container Terminal and discharged 918 containers.

ME3 route passes the following sea ports: Pipavav, Hazira, Jawaharlal Nehru, Jebel Ali, Salalah,Port Said, Damietta, Ambarli, Izmit K?rfezi, Novorossiysk, Yuzhnyi, Chernomorsk and Constanta. TIS press service states that previously Yuzhnyi Sea Port had no direct routes to Asia.

Roman Koloyanov, Maersk Ukraine Director General, believes that Maersk and TIS will have large-scale and long-term cooperation. TIS press service quoted Mr. Koloyanov: “TIS has the best port and railway infrastructure in Ukraine, which is very essential for our clients”.

Maersk Ukraine annual container flow amounts to ca. 200 thousand TEU.
